The Bureau of Water Supply seeks a Supervisor (Watershed Maintenance) II for the Port Jervis Water Resource Recovery Facility, responsible for operations, maintenance, and SPDES compliance of the treatment plant serving Port Jervis, NY.
Position requires standing, walking, lifting, climbing, working in confined spaces, and exposure to chemicals and varying weather conditions. Protective gear is required, and shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.
40 hours/week, shift work including nights and weekends. Location: 46 North Maple Avenue, Port Jervis, NY.
High school diploma plus three years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience. For higher levels, additional experience and supervisory capacity are required. Valid NY driver’s license needed.
This position is open to qualified persons with disabilities via the 55-a Program. Residency in NYC is not required. The salary range is $77,452–$97,171 annually.
