Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to lead nursing services with a patient-centered focus and uphold safety and quality across the hospital. You will collaborate with administration to optimize staffing, policies, and patient care outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, at least five years clinical nursing and three years in nursing leadership, with BLS/ACLS current and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN licensure in good standing.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience and three (3) years in nursing management preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals.
• Direct all nursing service activities for the hospital assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios, by maintaining a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care, by serving as a liaison between staff and administration, by promoting productivity of staff, by developing and implementing policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
