Job summary

Augusta TV LLC, WFXG FOX54 is seeking an in-house broadcast engineer to support the Chief Engineer in maintaining WFXG’s transmission systems and to serve as assistant FCC Chief Operator. Responsibilities include RF equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring FCC rule compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years of broadcast television experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Broadcast television experience preferred.
• Experience with RF transmission equipment is desirable.
• Pre-employment drug screen, driving record and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain RF transmission equipment and assist Chief Engineer in maintenance of broadcast systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic broadcast equipment to component level.
• Ensure compliance with FCC technical rules including EAS and transmitter control systems.
• Provide on-call emergency support for the facility.
• Assist with planning, design, and installation of new broadcast electronic and computer systems.
