Join our team at Nikanos, Inc. as an Assistant Chef and be a part of our family-owned restaurant and bar in beautiful Ogunquit, Maine.

Job Expectations

• Contribute to menu planning and development
• Demonstrate exceptional knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner items with precision and creativity
• Manage food costs and maintain high standards of food quality
• Operate fryers, prepare salads, and handle food preparation tasks efficiently
• Assist with catering events and meal preparation as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Assist with baking, dishwashing, and other kitchen duties as required
• Ensure food safety practices are followed and maintain ServSafe certification
• Have knowledge of nutrition, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), and cooking techniques
  
  

Salary

Minimum: $45,000.00

Maximum: $50,000.00
