Competenze

• Experience in a kitchen or gelato production environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift heavy containers and work in cold environments.

Mansioni

• Prepare bases, mix ingredients, and churn gelato.
• Track inventory and manage supplies.
• Support the Head Chef in production plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times.

• Clean and maintain equipment (pasteurizer, batch freezer, mixers, etc.).
• Support prep work and production scheduling as needed.

Assistant Gelato Chef – Production & Kitchen Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Gelato Chef to support our gelato production, kitchen operations, and inventory management. This role works closely with the Head Chef / COO and is key to maintaining product quality, consistency, and an organized kitchen.

This is a hands-on position focused on execution, cleanliness, and daily operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bases, mix ingredients, pasteurize, churn, and properly store gelato
• Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and batch quality
• Label, date, and organize all produced gelato and ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Clean and maintain equipment (pasteurizer, batch freezer, mixers, etc.)
• Support prep work and production scheduling as needed

Inventory & Supplies

• Track inventory of ingredients, packaging, and supplies
• Report low stock levels and assist with ordering
