Qualifications

• Prior experience in cheerleading, coaching, or choreography.
• Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, safety protocols, and performance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (as needed).

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise skills including stunting, tumbling, and game-day material.
• Develop and implement choreography for game day routines.
• Assist with competition preparation and travel.
• Help with team operations, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
• Attend basketball games and community events to supervise the team.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Head Coach and Director of Spirit.
• Travel with the team to UCA Nationals and the Metro Conference Basketball Tournament.
• Maintain effective written and verbal communication with athletes and University staff.
