Job summary

Loyola University New Orleans is seeking a part-time Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach to support the intercollegiate program. You will assist in practices, contests, and administrative tasks under the Head Coach, helping recruit student-athletes and ensure compliance with NAIA and SSAC rules.

You will also participate in Campus Security Authority duties, reporting campus incidents and aiding in daily operations. A background in athletics and alignment with Jesuit Catholic values is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year coaching or playing experience, manager experience, or GA experience
• Ability to work effectively with college student-athletes, faculty, staff, alumni and community members
• Philosophy aligning with Jesuit Catholic education and university goals
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Cheer and Dance Coach with coaching and administrative duties for intercollegiate program
• Aid in organization and supervision of practices and contests
• Assist with recruiting to attract student-athletes to Loyola University
• Follow NAIA, SSAC and university rules and regulations
• Assume Campus Security Authority duties including crime reporting and annual statistics
• Perform other duties as assigned
