Job summary

Protyre Autocare is looking for a hands-on, dynamic and commercially focused Assistant Centre Manager to join our growing team. You will assist with the operation and daily running of the depot, while delivering excellent customer service and upholding centre standards.

With a technical or mechanical background, you will support the workshop team, help achieve Centre targets and KPIs, and ensure stock is managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required (held at least 6 months).
• Workshop and management experience essential.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot.
• Support the workshop team mechanically where needed.
• Help achieve Centre targets and KPIs.
• Oversee stock management and centre value control.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company standards.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and procedures.

About the role:

• Assisting the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot
• Supporting the team in the workshop mechanically
• Playing a key part in the Centre targets including key performance indicators
• Overseeing the maintenance of stock values within the centre
• Offering and delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Company Policies and Procedures

About you:

• Technical or Mechanical background / knowledge.
• The ability to support the technicians in the workshop ifrequired
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability and desire to coach and mentor the team
• Previousexperience leading a team
• A high levelof understanding of car technology
• Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Experience of account management
• Commercial awareness to maximize business opportunities
• Full UK Driving Licence
