Job summary

Protyre Autocare is looking for a customer focused MOT Technician to join our team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. As an MOT Tester / Technician you will carry out MOTs and mechanical repairs as required.

Essential requirements include a valid MOT Licence and full UK driving licence. You will work safely, perform servicing and repairs, and use an alignment machine for fast-fit tyres.

Qualifications

• A valid MOT Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs.
• Experience with tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements.
• General servicing and repairs.
• Tyre fitting and fast-fit duties using alignment equipment.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety regulations.

About the role:

• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements
• General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.
• Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations
• Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.
• Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

• A valid MOT Licence
• You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles
• Full UK Driving Licence
