Job summary

ProtyreAutocare in the UK is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our growing team. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs on a range of cars and light vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Essential: full clean UK driving licence and an automotive qualification. You will operate in a busy workshop, removing and refitting components, and ensuring safety and accuracy in every job.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Qualification in an Automotive field.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Maintain high workmanship and safety standards.
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies.
• Identify additional faults and communicate them to customers/management.
• Ensure vehicle is clean after service.

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures.

About you:

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship.

Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative.

Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance.

Friendly and approachable manner.
