Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on day-to-day operations and lead a dedicated team. You will oversee staff, deliver excellent customer service, and support the General Manager in daily decisions.

You will make key decisions in the GM's absence, manage scheduling, and participate in ongoing training to ensure operational excellence at the center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
