Job summary

Mathnasium of Berryessa in California is seeking an Assistant Center Director to join a dedicated team focused on helping K-12 students excel in math. You will assist with sales, enroll students, and deliver exceptional service to families while coaching team members to deliver effective instruction in a collaborative, center-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales and marketing responsibilities, respond promptly to leads and enroll students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
• Build relationships with schools as part of ongoing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Lead, manage, and coach team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Support the Center Director in day-to-day operations and various administrative tasks.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Help monitor and grow center performance metrics, including profitability and student success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with sales and marketing responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Build relationships with schools as part of ongoing sales and marketing initiatives
• Lead, manage, and coach team members, including how to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Support the Center Director in managing and overseeing day‑to‑day operations in the center, including various administrative projects and tasks
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Help monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success

Required Qualifications:

• Team player
• Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; seeking promotion to Center Director and beyond
• Eagerness to learn and be trained

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Previous team management experience preferred
• Passion for math and working with students
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and successfully complete a background check, in accordance with applicable California law.
