Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking an Assistant Center Director in Sacramento, California to support student assessments and learning plans while providing exceptional customer service. You will work with K-12 students, helping them master math and build confidence.

The role offers flexible, part-time hours and a supportive work culture. Candidates should have a passion for math and demonstrate exceptional communication skills. All applicants must pass a math literacy test and a background check.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students up to high school math level.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra II.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments.
• Assist with sales responsibilities and enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver individualized instruction.
• Mentor and support employee development through training.
• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Mentor and support employee development by providing on‑the‑job training to instructional staff
• Teach/tutor in‑center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Create, plan, and execute community math events
• Manage and post on various social media and business accounts
