Job summary

Mathnasium of Berryessa in San Jose, CA, is seeking an Assistant Center Director to lead enrollment, student progress, and day-to-day center operations.

You will coach and develop staff, build partnerships with families and local schools, drive marketing initiatives, and monitor profitability while delivering exceptional math instruction and customer service. This role offers opportunities for advancement and a supportive culture with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales and marketing responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Build relationships with schools as part of ongoing sales and marketing initiatives
• Lead, manage, and coach team members, including how to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Support the Center Director in managing and overseeing day‑to‑day operations in the center, including various administrative projects and tasks
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Help monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Previous team management experience preferred
