Magical Beginnings seeks an Assistant Director for our Middleton center to lead daily operations and uphold regulatory standards. You will guide enrollment, support teachers, and foster a collaborative culture for staff, children, and families.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related experience/training required.
• EEC Director II Certification, First Aid/CPR, and active state registry.
• Strong knowledge of licensure regulations and licensing visits.
• 2–4 years as an Assistant Director, Lead Teacher, or Keyholder/Mentor in ECE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee center operations, safety, licensing readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain child-to-teacher ratios and safety protocols.
• Prepare for licensing visits and communicate with licensors.
• Manage staff files, monthly drills, and payroll within budget.
• Lead monthly staff meetings, 1:1s, and parent meetings.
• Support curriculum quality and student growth documentation.
