Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring an Assistant Center Director who will support the Center Director in leading teaching staff, engaging families, and reaching enrollment and accreditation targets. You will collaborate with parents, state authorities, and the local community to ensure high-quality care and education for children.

The role may involve filling in as a teacher, cook, or driver when needed, contributing to a dynamic center team and mission to deliver exceptional experiences

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in multiple roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
