Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to support center leadership and ensure high-quality early childhood education. You will work with teachers, families, and licensing authorities to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations goals.

You will collaborate with parents to provide the best care and education for children, and may serve in various roles within the center as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
