Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Kyle, Texas seeks an Assistant Center Director to help lead our Plum Creek KinderCare with our world-class curriculum and enrollment goals. You will support the Center Director while guiding teachers and families toward high-quality care and continuous improvement.

You will partner with families, supervise staff, coordinate enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations, and step into roles such as teacher or driver when needed, ensuring a safe, engaging

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Able to request reasonable accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
