Bauer James Inc is looking for an Educational Operations Support in Glenview, Illinois. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education, and at least 3 years of related experience in the field. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations at Sylvan centers, managing inquiry calls, and monitoring student educational plans. A teaching certification and skills in customer service are advantageous. This is a part-time role requiring afternoon/evening availability from Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings.

Overview
Responsibilities
Support the day to day operations of Sylvan centers to ensure student success and customer satisfaction.
Work across all 3 centers to support operations as needed.
Support the Sylvan sales process through active management of inquiry calls across multiple centers, proctoring initial student assessments, and leading Sylvan enrollment conferences.
Monitor the integrity of student educational plans and share regular progress reports with parents.
Demonstrating and upholding a high level of staff morale and professionalism as well as ensuring the professional appearance of center.
Support the Center Director in oversight and management of center teaching and clerical staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree - Education or related field preferred
Teaching Certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of related experience in the Education field
Experience in sales, customer service, office management preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and accountability with strong follow-up and attention to detail
Ability to work 20-25 hrs per week
Ability to work afternoon/evenings Mon - Thurs from 3:00-7:30pm and Saturdays 9:00-2:00pm
Authorized to work in the US and pass a criminal background check.
