Position Summary

The Mathnasium Assistant Center Director is responsible for directly assisting the Center Director with sales and administrative tasks required to run a center efficiently, in addition to providing educational support and leadership to the instructional floor. They take ownership of the center's effectiveness and are empowered to take appropriate action when necessary. Responsibilities include making care-calls, following up with warm leads, scheduling visits, and conducting enrollment conversations when the Center Director is occupied. They assist with creating binders, reordering workout plans, logging student progress, and joining the instructional floor to provide instruction when no administrative or sales tasks are pending. Additionally, they train, coach, and develop instructional staff to achieve top performance. The Assistant Center Director supports the Center Director in daily operations and is the second highest leader in the center, assuming responsibilities in the Director’s absence.

Role & Characteristics

Support the Center Director in managing all aspects of center operations to ensure efficiency. Ensure administrative duties are completed accurately. Position students and team members for success by providing necessary educational materials. Administer assessments to diagnose learning gaps and create tailored learning plans. Take accountability for decisions and outcomes.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with sales by enrolling leads, building rapport with parents, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Support instructional staff through training, coaching, and leadership to ensure educational success and excellent instruction using Mathnasium methodology.
