Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. ## **What You'll Be Doing*** Assist in leading daily cement plant operation to ensure safe, efficient, and realize clinker and cement production.* Coordinate production activities across the kiln, raw mill, finish mill, and related process areas to achieve throughput, quality, and cost objectives.* Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, inspections, and compliance initiatives.* Partner with maintenance and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.* Analyze production metrics and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance plant performance. ## **What Are We Looking For*** Experience in a cement manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of cement production processes and plant operations,* Demonstrated capability to lead teams, drive accountability, and develop employee performance.* Strong understanding of heavy industrial manufacturing operations, including process-driven production environments.* Working knowledge of key cement plant systems such as kilns, mills, crushers, material handling equipment, and dust collection systems.* Ability to interpret operational and production data and make informed decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and environmental functions. ## **Work Environment** This position is based within a large cement manufacturing facility and involves working in both office and plant environments. The role requires regular interaction with production equipment, maintenance activities, and operating personnel.
