Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp seeks team members to supervise campers and facilitate engaging activities from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm during the Seattle camp session. Responsibilities include guiding activities, ensuring safety, and supporting various creative spaces.

Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, able to lead groups, and enjoy working with 4–12 year olds. Acknowledging the camp’s seasonal timeline, this role requires energy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Staff members will be responsible for facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Some staff members will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers will self-select activities.
• Other staff will work in rotating support roles throughout camp.
• Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
