Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a Purchasing/Merchandising professional to support the Buyer with day-to-day management and the development of business processes to maximize sales and gross margin, while meeting inventory objectives.

This is a hybrid role reporting to the support center at Legacy West. You will collaborate with vendor partners on assortment, pricing, and promotions, analyze data to identify growth opportunities, and help exit slow-moving items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years purchasing or merchandising experience in related field.
• Category management experience in related field preferred.
• Beauty experience a plus.
• JDA a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Supports the Buyer with the assortment strategy for the assigned category.
• Collaborates with vendor/brand partners to maximize first-to-market products and pricing strategy.
• Works with pricing/promotional team to ensure optimal performance against sales and margin.
• Partner with marketing and operations to ensure a customer-first product strategy.
• Assist with inventory planning and leadership presentations.
