Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Buyer to partner with the Buyer, maintain data integrity and support seasonal needs in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help manage SKUs, pricing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive assortments.

This role offices onsite Monday-Thursday with a remote option on Friday, and requires 1-2 years of retail buying experience, a BA/BS or equivalent, and strong Excel skills for sales analysis.

Qualifications

• BA /BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail buying experience.
• Familiar and comfortable with pulling sales reports and analyzing business metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all SKUs in Merchandise systems.
• Manage visual line and merchandise lists.
• Communicate project and sample status updates and costing worksheets; track new SKUs for PO placement.
• Assist sample management with photo and warehouse teams.
• Enter and maintain regular pricing for DTC and Retail; collaborate with inventory and sourcing.
• Support seasonal opportunities and plan seasonal floor sets with Buyers and Visual teams.
• Maintain relationships across inventory, design, development, e-commerce, and creative teams.
