Job description

Description

  1. Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.
  2. Assist in organizing, planning, and directing administrative activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  3. Maintain minutes of meetings and file documents as necessary.
  4. Serve as a key representative of the community, contributing to community relations, public regard, and overall awareness.
  5. Support the Administrator, DON, and Business Office Manager in administrative tasks.
  6. Perform clerical and accounting functions such as cash receipts and ancillary data; assist with HR and payroll duties as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility.
  8. Assist in recording all incidents/accidents and file according to policies.
  9. Assist in administrative studies and projects as assigned.
  10. Ensure adherence to ergonomics policies and procedures to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.
  11. Maintain adequate supplies of office materials to meet operational needs.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report any violations or incidents of unauthorized disclosure.
  13. Supervisory Requirements: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  14. Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED minimum.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents.
    • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals.
    • Effective presentation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel, typing at least 40 words per minute, and use of office equipment.
    • Knowledge of clerical functions and computer literacy.
  15. Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally; prolonged desk work; ability to assist in emergency evacuations.
  16. Work Environment: Typically low to moderate noise level; accommodations available for disabilities.
