Description
- Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing, planning, and directing administrative activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain minutes of meetings and file documents as necessary.
- Serve as a key representative of the community, contributing to community relations, public regard, and overall awareness.
- Support the Administrator, DON, and Business Office Manager in administrative tasks.
- Perform clerical and accounting functions such as cash receipts and ancillary data; assist with HR and payroll duties as needed.
- Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility.
- Assist in recording all incidents/accidents and file according to policies.
- Assist in administrative studies and projects as assigned.
- Ensure adherence to ergonomics policies and procedures to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Maintain adequate supplies of office materials to meet operational needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report any violations or incidents of unauthorized disclosure.
- Supervisory Requirements: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED minimum.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents.
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, typing at least 40 words per minute, and use of office equipment.
- Knowledge of clerical functions and computer literacy.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally; prolonged desk work; ability to assist in emergency evacuations.
- Work Environment: Typically low to moderate noise level; accommodations available for disabilities.
