Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience, preferably in retail.
• Mechanically inclined; 1–2 years in plumbing/HVAC/hydronics preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience with CSD (ERP) is helpful.
• Forklift certification or ability to get certified.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Branch Manager in Operations, Customer Service, and reporting at a high-volume location.
• Maintain personal contact with customers on the sales floor to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly store evaluations to maintain branch standards of cleanliness, productivity, organization, and customer service.
• Research billing inquiries, place and expedite orders, and maintain supplies inventory.
• Assist in developing plans to increase branch sales.
• Assist customers with plumbing and HVAC projects to ensure a positive experience.
• Manage daily activity of the sales floor, warehouse, and POS system.
• Assist with safety inspections and reporting.
• Assist with any warehouse functions.
• Provide support as needed by the Branch Manager.
