Job summary

Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union in Kailua, HI seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support profitability, administration and supervision of branch sales and operations.

You will train and coach staff in sales, service and lending, lead day-to-day operations, and prepare reports to measure performance against goals; you may assist the Branch Manager and participate in continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and four years related experience or equivalent.
• One year loan underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager in profitability, administration and supervision of branch sales and operations.
• Train, support, lead and coach staff in sales, service and lending processes to achieve branch goals.
• Generate reports to track performance against defined sales and service targets.
• Supervise day-to-day branch operations, coordinate work schedules and staff workloads.

Job description

Assists the Branch Manager in the ensuring the profitability, administration and supervision of branch sales and operations within established policies and guidelines. Creates and fosters a branch culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence, relationship building, and staff professionalism. Trains, supports, leads and coaches staff in sales, service and lending processes and procedures to achieve branch and individual performance goals and to develop skills in product knowledge, sales and customer service. Generates defined reports to track actual performance to defined sales and services goals, member satisfaction and new business development. Responsible for the direct supervision of day-to-day branch operations. Coordinates work schedules, allocates workload, and provides oversight, guidance and assistance to branch personnel. Train branch staff in operational processes and procedures; monitor staff performance and recommend personnel actions; assists staff in complex situations and problem escalation; and recommends changes for continuous process improvement. Assists in SEG servicing and assume back-up responsibilities for Branch Manager as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year loan underwriting experience
• Knowledge in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs
• Supervisory experience

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES

• NMLS License
• Valid Driver's License and access to a motor vehicle
