Job summary

QXO is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations at our Portsmouth, NH location, ensuring smooth workflows and customer service excellence.

You will lead safety, auditing, scheduling, training, and deployment of resources, while building a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership experience in branch or distribution settings.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Experience supervising teams and leading operations.
• Knowledge of exterior logistics and warehouse/store layout beneficial.
• Commitment to safety culture and protocol adherence.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, assuring smooth daily operations
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and regulations, including daily cash drawer maintenance and financial accounting
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked by employees
• Provide training and support to all branch employees, fostering a customer-centric approach and exceeding service expectations
