Job summary

QXO is seeking a branch operations leader to act as acting manager in their absence and drive a safety-first culture. You will ensure audit compliance, optimize warehouse layouts, and manage schedules while training staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications include an A.A. or equivalent, plus experience in supervising, logistics, and building materials. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; can be substituted for related experience.
• Operational experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.

What You'll Do

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, assuring smooth daily operations
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and regulations, including daily cash drawer maintenance and financial accounting
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked by employees
• Provide training and support to all branch employees, fostering a customer-centric approach and exceeding service expectations
