Job summary

orsa credit union in Michigan seeks an assistant branch people leader who guides consultants and supervises daily branch operations, delivering exceptional member experiences and ensuring service excellence.

You’ll coach, develop, and assess performance, partner with the branch people leader, and step in as acting lead when needed to help the branch fulfill its purpose of creating joy and empowering Michiganders’ dreams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years in retail or service environment.
• Experience in leadership, performance management and team development.
• Experience with face-to-face customer service and digital engagement.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop Consultants.
• Walk alongside members in both light and dark moments, providing consultative support.
• Champion operational excellence by overseeing daily branch routines including opening/closing, cash controls, and audit readiness.
• Guide the digitally-forward experience, ensuring consultants support members with digital tools.
• Drive performance and accountability by monitoring dashboards, setting expectations, and aligning daily work with branch goals.
