MUNDY'S MILL HIGH in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a Lay Coach Assistant Boys Soccer (Non-Certified) to support the Head Coach with coaching, supervision and skills development for K-12 athletes. This role reports to the Head Coach and assists with practices and equipment.

GHSA requirements include completing Prepare/First Aid and Principles for Coaching within three months; candidates should be 21+, and the position is part-time with a stipend.

Qualifications

• GHSA requirements: Prepare/First Aid and Principles for Coaching exams within 3 months.
• 21+ age recommendation by GHSA.
• Ability to manage projects and duties with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• GHSA coaching exam required.
• Analytical focus on safety, training procedures and injury prevention.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on the fundamentals of sports.
• Assists Head Coach with equipment issuance and coordinating try-outs.
• Assists in coordinating and supervising practice schedules and supervision of athletes.
• Guides athletes to participate at appropriate levels and works with staff to coordinate opportunities.
• Collaborates with partners to monitor delivery and healthy lifestyles.
