Mundy’s Mill High School in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a Lay Coach - Assistant Girls Soccer (Non-Certified) to support the Head Coach in delivering structured sport activities for K-12 students. This PART-TIME role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and positive participation.

You will assist with practice schedules, equipment handling, and monitoring student progress while promoting healthy lifestyles and fair play in outdoor settings, including travel to off-site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• GHSA requires community coaches to complete the Prepare/First Aid and the Principles for Coaching exams within three months of class date.
• Prospective coaches should be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to manage projects and duties with minimal supervision; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Coaching exam (GHSA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on fundamentals of sports.
• Assists Head Coach with coordinating and monitoring try-outs.
• Assists in practice schedule and supervision of athletes and teams.
• Promotes safe participation and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Liaises with staff and partners to support program delivery.
