MORROW HIGH in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Lay Coach - Non-Certified (Paras and Community) to assist the Head Coach in delivering sports coaching to K-12 student-athletes. You will supervise, train, and coach athletes, developing individuals and delivering core movement and sport-specific skills.

This part-time position requires GHSA coaching knowledge, completion of required exams within three months, strong teamwork and communication, and regular travel to away events.

Qualifications

• GHSA requires completion of PREPARE/First Aid and Principles for Coaching within three months.
• Must meet GHSA policies and be 21+ years old.
• Strong time management, teamwork and communication skills.
• Capable of outdoor activity and travel for off-site events.

Responsabilités

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on fundamentals of sports.
• Assist Head Coach with practice schedule, equipment, and try-outs.
• Coordinate and supervise practice and supervise athletes and teams.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and monitor impact of delivery.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to provide opportunities.
• Maintain safety and adhere to rules.
