Qualifications

• Aide Head Coach in delivering sports coaching and supervision.
• Must understand GHSA rules and pass the Prep/First Aid and Principles for Coaching exams within 3 months.
• GHSA recommends coaching prospects be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to manage time and priorities; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on fundamentals of sports.
• Works with coaching staff to set rules, policies and regulations for the team.
• Assists Head Coach in issuing equipment and coordinating try-outs.
• Assists with supervising practice schedules and athlete supervision.
• Guides student athletes in decisions about further sport participation.
• Collaborates with partners to monitor delivery and health lifestyles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
