Qualifications

• GHSA requires coaches to complete PREPARE/First Aid and Principles for Coaching within 3 months.
• Prospective coaches should be 21 years or older and follow GHSA policies.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on fundamentals of sports and rules.
• Assists Head Coach with try-outs, practice scheduling, and equipment issuance.
• Monitors and supervises athletes and teams; supports program delivery of healthy lifestyles.
• Coordinates with staff to ensure safe, age-appropriate participation.
