Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Beverage Operations Manager with proven leadership to maintain staffing, standards, and service quality across casino beverage outlets.

You will monitor on-floor and back-of-house operations, mentor staff, oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, while reporting to the Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years management experience in high volume hotel and/or casino beverage.
• Knowledge of all beverage equipment necessary.
• Be able to communicate in English both verbally and written form.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate departmental coverage at all times
• Maintain standards in quality of all beverage services
• Ensure efficiency of service through on-site monitoring on the casino floor and back of the house areas
• Communicate any departmental needs to the Beverage Manager
• Assist in maintaining company and departmental health and safety standards
• Complete appropriate reports for shift as required by Beverage Manager
• Maintain accurate and adequate employee records, ensure all employee relation issues are handled in a professional manner and issue commendations and disciplinary action as necessary
• Assist in overseeing orders and maintaining of par levels of inventory for each beverage outlet
• Reduce waste and breakage of all products by helping to maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct meetings and relay pertinent information to the staff before the start of the daily shift
• Ensure bar porters and bartenders have the necessary gaming permits before clocking in
• Ensure the cleanliness of all the bar areas
• Maintain adequate levels of products in each outlet
• Manage, monitor and mentor staff to ensure they are following proper policies and procedures
• Supervise casino floor, service bars, and all beverage outlets
• Achieve all service, financial, and human resource goals set forth by company executives
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
