Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs is seeking an Assistant Beverage Manager to support day-to-day beverage operations across outlets, bars, and events. You will help manage quality, cost control, and inventories under the Beverage Manager and Director of Food and Beverage, while maintaining strict sanitation standards and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a team, coordinate with management, and ensure consistent service, training, and policy adherence to deliver a best-in-class guest experience

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass pre-screening and background checks.
• Must obtain work cards and non-gaming registration as required by local jurisdiction.
• Must obtain S.T.A.R Certification at start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support Beverage Manager in all aspects of F&B quality, cost control, and inventories.
• Assist with hiring, training, evaluation, and counseling of F&B staff.
• Ensure sanitation and proper handling according to Health Department standards.
• Lead day-to-day operations to provide BIG Service to internal and external guests.
• Coordinate with management to maintain service flow across outlets, bars, and events.
• Ensure compliance with recipes, quantities, and standard operating procedures.
