Stein Eriksen Lodge offers an authentic European lodge experience nestled mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Named after Norwegian Olympic Gold Medal skier Stein Eriksen, the Lodge is a premiere year-round destination.

Responsibilities
- To provide prompt, courteous service to guests and familiarize incoming guests with the Lodge. Establish high standards of conduct to maintain a professional image with our guests. Responsible for the overall satisfaction of our guests.
- Oversees and coordinates bell desk and transportation; at times assists the ski locker room to ensure prompt, courteous service to the guests.
- Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Respond to guests’ needs and requests in a courteous and effective manner.
- Be fully aware of daily hotel functions; be knowledgeable of surrounding area attractions and points of interest.
- Assist guests at check-in and checkout. Tag, store, and distribute baggage; record all bell service activities in the log book.
- Under the direction of the Bell Captain: perform administrative functions such as ordering newspapers, labor hour reconciliation, calculating gratuities, and group services.
- Maintain and organize all bell service files; train, motivate, reward, and discipline staff as needed.
- Maintain adequate stock of supplies and allocate baggage tip money in a fair and timely manner.
- Show rooms and property to visitors; deliver items such as messages, packages, and flowers to rooms as needed.
- Maintain fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby; provide ski and weather information.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area (including bell stand and entire front entrance in the garage).
- Respond to all emergency situations and know safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
- Be able to quote basic history of the Stein Eriksen Lodge, Deer Valley, and Park City; demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with guests and employees.
- Take all necessary measures to help guests and fellow employees; responsible for shipping and receiving of guests’ skis and packages.
Education, Experience, And Skills Preferred
- High school diploma
- Previous bell service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Enthusiastic willingness to work as a team
- Ability to work flexible hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
