Job summary

Sophie B. Wright Charter School in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach to work with the head coach to organize practices, games and player development, while fostering a positive team culture.

You will lead skill development, plan strategies, and ensure compliance with school and league rules, while supporting academic achievement for athletes. Experience in baseball and CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience in baseball preferred.
• Knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and training methods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
