Job Description
- Assisting with the setup of function rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and audio-visual equipment.
- Supervising and working closely with banquet staff, including casual labor, to ensure adequate staffing levels, punctuality, and overall performance.
- Assisting in training the banquet service team .
- Addressing any special event requests, resolving guest complaints, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Assisting with the overall planning and execution of banquet events, from initial concept to post-event clean-up.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in food and beverage or related professional area. Previous experience as an Assistant Banquet Manager or Banquet Supervisor is preferred.
- Ability to give feedback and provide excellent customer service.
- Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; spoken Cantonese is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills with attention to details.
