Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
• Satisfy Rule 403 requirements.
• Willingness to travel to court and transport files.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Securities and Money Services Sections in investigative stages of securities and money services cases.
• Prepare pleadings related to assigned cases and negotiate resolutions.
• Represent the Securities and Money Services Sections in the trial, hearing, and appellate phases.
• Travel to court and transport files as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Director or the Attorney General.
