The Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit (CPU) is responsible for enforcing state and federal laws that protect consumers from fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices. Assistant Attorneys General engage in civil litigation to enforce the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act, the Oklahoma Antitrust Reform Act, and relevant state statutes. Qualified candidates must have outstanding legal judgment and be able to effectively and professionally research, prepare, analyze and understand complex information and legal issues. Applicants must be a licensed attorney and have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the practice of law. Strong writing and oral advocacy skills are required. Preference may be given to candidates with supervisory experience and/or litigation experience.
