Job summary

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a full-time Sports Medicine staff member to assist with day-to-day operations of the Sports Medicine Department, including staffing training room hours and practice/game coverage.

The role requires providing medical coverage, traveling to away games, communicating injury updates with head coaches, and supporting rehab assignments, all while upholding SNU's Christ-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Must profess Christian faith and support SNU mission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine with BOC certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with internal and external constituencies.
• Experience promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Highly organized; able to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical coverage for sports at home games.
• Travel to away games to support the home team staff.
• Daily injury updates with head coaches.
• Assist in training room coverage and rehab assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
