Job summary

Qualifications

  • AEMA Certification or ability to obtain within a year of employment.

  • Preferred coursework in Sports Management.
  • Experience operating heat press and vinyl cutter machines.
  • Familiar with Front Rush TRAC or similar inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of laundry chemicals and stain removal techniques.
  • Some experience with Olympic sports.

Job Description

To help facilitate the safety of student athletes through soundallocation and fitting of equipment. Assist the Assistant AthleticDirector for Equipment Operations in the ordering, inventory,issuance, use and maintenance of athletic department equipment forassigned sports according to established policies and procedures.Responsibilities include maintenance of daily operations, andupdating and improving current policies and procedures toaccommodate future growth.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Working knowledge of supplies, equipment and/or services orderinginventory control. Strong communication skills (verbal &written). Must have excellent organizational skills, anddemonstrate computer literacy/proficiency. Outstanding leadership,management and interpersonal skills to relate to a wide and diversegroup of staff, students, vendors and community members.Demonstrates ability to multi-task in a fast paced workenvironment.

Special licenses, registration or certification

AEMA Certification or ability to obtain certification within a yearof employment.

Some experience working in an Division I athletic equipment room oran equipment room at the professional level.

Considerable experience using Front Rush TRAC athletic equipmentinventory system or similar system.
