Job summary

Great Hearts Academies seeks an Assistant Athletic Director to oversee Middle and High School athletics. The role reports to the Athletic Director and supports all functions an Athletic Director handles, including coach oversight, scheduling, and registrations.

You will coordinate facilities, communications, and league interactions for GHMSL and Archway events. The position requires strong communication, flexible hours, and involvement in school athletic operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with interscholastic athletics and school athletic operations.
• Strong communication with campus community and GHMSL.
• Ability to manage registrations, scheduling, and facility rentals.

Responsibilities

• Communications internally and externally with campus community, faculty, and social media
• Formal seasonal evaluations of middle school coaches
• Hosting games on campus and coordinating officials and volunteers
• Heading registrations and clearances for ~300 seasonal student-athletes
• Managing facility rentals for on- and off-campus venues
• GHMSL communications and operations leadership
• Head of Archway early release sports days
