Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston seeks an Athletic Director – Middle School to partner with the Head of Athletics in organizing and supporting the interscholastic program, supervising coaches, planning schedules, and overseeing home and post-season contests.

This role includes on-site supervision, after-school coverage, travel coordination, and interacting with campus staff; coaching two seasons and helping with equipment, logistics, and annual professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of athletic coaching experience.
• General knowledge of all sports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Supervisory or administrative experience preferred.
• Head coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with seasonal sport schedules.
• Supervise home contests.
• Coordinate post-season travel and competition.
• Notify opponents and officials of postponements using protocol.
• Schedule practice times and facilities.
• Manage athletics website, rosters and calendars.
• Assist with home game logistics and payments.
• Coordinate equipment purchasing, inventory and maintenance.
• Coach two seasons.
