Job summary

Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart Inc. is seeking an Athletic Director for the Middle School to partner with the Head of Athletics to organize and support the interscholastic program, shaping its strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation.

The role includes training coaches, planning and directing work, addressing concerns, overseeing home and post-season contests, and serving as on‑duty administrator at home events, with after‑school coverage and two seasons of coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of athletic coaching experience.
• General knowledge of all sports.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Supervisory or school administrator experience preferred.
• Head coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in preparing seasonal sport schedules.
• Assist with supervision of home contests.
• Coordinate post-season travel.
• Notify opponents and officials of postponements per protocol.
• Schedule practice times and facilities.
• Manage athletics website with rosters and calendars.
• Coordinate home game logistics and payments to officials.
• Coordinate equipment purchasing, inventory, maintenance.
• Assist with and participate in the Athletics Banquet.
• Attend annual professional development conferences.
• Coach two seasons.
