Posting Summary | The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor faculty position as Program Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) in the School Psychology Department. We welcome applicants with specialized knowledge and experience in MTSS development and implementation, as well as knowledge and skills related to professional practices in school contexts. Applicants with post-secondary teaching experience are encouraged to apply. Broadly speaking, successful applicants will also show the capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of GSAPP and the professional community. GSAPP's School Psychology Department has two distinct degree programs (APA-accredited and NASP-approved Psy.D. program in school psychology, and an online master's degree in applied psychology in MTSS), as well as an 18-credit graduate online certificate program in MTSS. The most competitive candidates will be able to lead and expand admissions for MTSS programs, drive marketing efforts, oversee curriculum development within the program, and teach existing or new coursework in MTSS. In general, responsibilities include leadership for MTSS programs, online asynchronous teaching, student advising, dissertation committee membership, and unit and departmental service (e.g., committees, admissions, student review). Candidates who are ABD will be considered; however, completion of the doctoral degree by the start date is required for hire.
