Description
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering & Computer Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice level in cybersecurity. The expected start date is August 2025 or January 2026.
The department houses multiple degrees in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Data Science and Cybersecurity at the BS and MS levels and also participates in the PhD program in Engineering and Applied Science. The University of New Haven has been recognized by the NSA as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO), one of only 21 universities in the U.S. to receive this prestigious designation.
Desired areas of expertise are one or more of the following, although expertise in other areas will also be considered: offensive cyber operations, cyber forensics, threat intelligence and cyber defense, post-quantum cryptography, AI/ML in cyber operations, IOT/control-systems security, and security in autonomous vehicles.
