What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, manage, and monitor compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct regular internal assessments to identify compliance gaps and address them
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for compliance issues
- Stay updated on changes in cybersecurity regulations and industry standards
- Prepare and present compliance reports to management and coordinate with external auditors during assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must meet all Department of Defense SkillBridge eligibility requirements and be approved to participate in the SkillBridge program
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Up to 5 years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 rev 5, CMMC, GDPR, and HIPAA
- Ability to remediate/answer POAMs and collaborate with software engineering to address findings from scans
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar
- Experience in developing and managing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
